Manufacturing Technician

• Location: Oxnard, California
• Type: Contract
• Job #78659 An aerospace client is looking for a Manufacturing Technician who will p erform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
  
  Location: Oxnard, CA 11779 (On-site)
  Position: Manufacturing Technician
  Pay Rate : $29/hr. on W2
  Duration : 12 months or longer
  
  RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Swiss-army knife-type technician position.
  • Technicians could end up performing any number of tasks.
  • Examples of the kinds of tasks are as follows: assembling large tooling structures, using two-part epoxies for bonding, assembling small/delicate mechanical flight hardware, working with and assembling composite structures, and sewing/stitching mesh fabric.
  • Use assigned work instructions and assembly drawings to perform an assortment of Technician tasks (see above).
  • Knowing and understanding how to read blueprint-type assembly drawings is a big plus. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
    • US Citizenship is required.
    • Knowledge and experience with all common mechanical hand tools.
    • Knowledge and experience with fasteners and torquing mechanical fasteners.
    • Ability to read and understand blueprint-style mechanical drawings.
    • An ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, ask questions, and fit-it within a team working environment is important.
