Job Description:
A company is looking for a Xhosa Translator to provide written
translation services from English into Xhosa.
Key Responsibilities
Provide written translations using a Computer-Assisted Translation
(CAT) tool
Adhere to project work instructions and ensure cultural and
linguistic appropriateness of translations
Deliver completed translation jobs by deadlines while maintaining
accuracy and quality standards
Required Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old
5 years of experience providing written translations to U.S.
federal or state government agencies
Accredited or certified by an acceptable translation industry
organization or possess a Bachelor's degree with a certificate in
translation studies
High proficiency in English and a native speaker of Xhosa
Experience using modern CAT tools and Adobe Acrobat for document
formatting and markup
