Job Description:
A company is looking for an IT Desktop Patching Specialist for a
contract position focused on deploying security patches and updates
to desktop systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute scheduled patch deployments and updates for Windows and
macOS desktops
Test patches for compatibility and troubleshoot issues
post-deployment
Track patch status, system health, and compliance, reporting
progress to the IT Operations team
Required Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or
equivalent experience)
2-5 years of experience in desktop support or patch management
roles
Familiarity with patch management tools (e.g., SCCM, Ivanti)
Knowledge of Windows and macOS desktop environments
Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell)
