Observability and Alerting Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for an Observability & Alerting Specialist to ensure the reliability and performance of applications within the Medicare Technology Operations domain.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement observability and alerting solutions across various technology platforms
Monitor systems and applications, proactively identifying and resolving performance issues
Develop and maintain monitoring tools, alerts, and dashboards for system health visibility

Required Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command line tools
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl is a plus
