- Mentor a team of System -Administrators to ensure the
confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT systems and
applications within their assigned area
- Participate in technical meetings with team members, program
personnel, and represent the IT organization in functional area
matters.
- Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft
Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.---
- Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD)
8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or
equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
- Full time 100% Onsite position. Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically, requires a University degree or equivalent
experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an
Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years
experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security
clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is
required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security
clearance.
- Experience with some but not limited to, the following
technologies: -Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Veritas NetBackup,
Backup Exec, MySQL, Remote Desktop Gateway, prior systems
administration and/or networking administration experience, Windows
administration, backup and recovery enterprise suites.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience working with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or
DoD/RMF and handling classified information.
- Experience in the following areas: patch management, High
Performance Computing, operating system upgrades, computer
security, system monitoring and logging.
- Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS)
systems, and NetApp.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
- Cross domain access solutions (Trusted Thin Client)
- Industry certifications including but not limited to: Security
+, CISSP, ITIL, ISC2, PMP etc.
- High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux
environment.
- Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570
Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent
certification and an Operating System Certification).
- Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other

Now! The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 224,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative
of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when
extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role,
function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work
experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired

these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a
