Job Description:
A company is looking for a Technical Accounting Specialist -
Reinsurance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in
reinsurance accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and report on reinsurance transactions while ensuring proper
financial treatment
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, reinsurers, and external
auditors
Support the company's reinsurance strategy and maintain robust
internal controls
Required Qualifications
Strong background in technical accounting, specifically with
reinsurance contracts and life insurance products
Familiarity with modco
Ability to work remotely
Experience in managing finance teams within the insurance
sector
Proven expertise in statutory reporting under Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles (GAAP)
