Job Description:
***This role is based in the company's new location and requires
relocation or commutability***
A successful group is seeking an executive-level General Manager to
help open their highly anticipated new concept. This will be the
group's first traditional full-service restaurant, so they are
looking for someone with an established restaurant background and
good energy who can train the team on excellent customer service.
The large-format restaurant will also feature a bar and attached
bakery component, so someone with some bar/beverage experience is
needed.
While this person's title will be GM to start, the team is really
looking for someone to grow into more of an executive role with the
company and help oversee future openings and manage additional
locations. Past multi-unit, DO, or F&B Dir level experience is
required for this role. An amazing opportunity to join a very

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and positively impact all areas of the business
including: sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and
satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
- Spearhead all opening duties for the new concept - including
hiring, training, setting up processes/procedures, assisting with
construction phase, etc.
- Ensure quality and consistency of all products served
- Maintain positive and cooperative relationships with all
vendors and business partners
- Foster opportunities for the team to learn and grow
- Monitor restaurant performance to identify emerging trends and
areas of opportunity, including new technology or service
models
- Provide structures, support and training for restaurant and
help evaluate potential opportunities
- Continually strive to educate and develop of staff as it
relates to food, beverage, and service
- Creating a positive and fun working environment
- Oversight of a very high-volume dining and bar operation
- Developing a positive relationship with guests
- Taking ownership of the business to increase sales and
profitability
- Increasing brand awareness by creating marketing plans
- Set an example to the team by providing excellent hospitality
and service at all times
- Anticipate the needs of the restaurant and act upon them
- Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and
deliver prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and
all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and
municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor
requirementsRequirements:
- 5+ years' experience as a Regional or Area Manager, Director of
Operations/Hospitality, 7+ years as Multi-unit Manager/GM, or
Operating Partner (preferably in a restaurant and/or bar setting),
OR 3+ years' experience as a VP of Operations for a full-service,
upscale, multi-use restaurant concept is required
- Bar/beverage experience required
- Opening experience a huge plus
- Proven track record in leading and motivating a team
- Previous high-volume and corporate experience is preferred
- Strong P&L knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Competent, intelligent, self-starter
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
- Develops relationships with guests to create & maintain guest

- Base Salary in the $120-175k+ range DOE
