Job Description:
A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Care Advocate to
manage case management and utilization review of behavioral health
and substance abuse cases.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial concurrent reviews for higher levels of care,
including inpatient and residential admissions
Assess patients and determine appropriate levels of care, managing
cases throughout the treatment plan
Coordinate benefits and transitions between various areas of care
while consulting with facility staff and outpatient providers
Required Qualifications
Licensed clinician with a Master's degree in Psychology, Social
Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling, or an RN with
2 years of behavioral health experience
Active and unrestricted clinical license to practice independently
in the state of residence
3+ years of post-Master's experience in a related mental health
environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
Outlook)
Access to dedicated office space and high-speed internet
service
