Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager, Claims - E&S/Specialty
Casualty (Large Loss Vertical).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of approximately 6 claims professionals, overseeing
performance and development
Handle resolution of claims, managing reserves and ensuring
adequacy
Develop unit plans and departmental goals to align with strategic
objectives
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
10 years of commercial casualty claims handling experience,
specifically in large loss
5-8 years of experience in a leadership or management role
Undergraduate degree preferred; completion of insurance courses
such as IIA, AEI, or CPCU is preferred
Experience in handling complex claims and litigation
Knowledge of multi-line, multi-jurisdictional, and E&S
insurance experience preferred
