Job Description:

A company is looking for a Database Engineer responsible for overseeing multi-tenant databases and services as part of a modernization project.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and support Oracle databases in both Non-RAC and RAC environments
Implement and maintain Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and Grid Infrastructure
Perform database performance tuning, backups, and ensure compliance with Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in database engineering
Experience managing Oracle Databases in a RAC environment with production support
Proficiency in implementing Grid Infrastructure releases 19 or higher on Redhat Linux
Familiarity with Oracle Active Data Guard and Golden Gate for Oracle Replication
Knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS and Azure
