Newberg Dundee Public Schools is Seeking a Director of Finance to join our team.We are looking for the right candidate to direct the district's financial services. This person will serve as the Deputy Clerk for the district under the supervision of the superintendent and will organize and establish district budget procedures. The Director of Finance will serve as fiscal officer to the Budget Committee, implement budget control, and develop the budget calendar. In addition, they will advise the superintendent, staff members, and the Board of Directors on all matters related to district business affairs. They will provide day-to-day accounting of district funds, effectively invest district funds, prepare the District budget document, and oversee state and federal grants. This position is also responsible for the supervision of business office employees.Desired QualificationsWe are seeking someone with five years in business or accounting management. Oregon School District management or K-12 school administration experience is preferred. A degree in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent education and experience is required. A Master's Degree and CPA are preferred.Salary and BenefitsThis is a 260-day full-time administrative position at the Newberg Dundee Public Schools district office. The salary range is $143,790 - $153,711 in accordance with the 2024-2025 Administrator I Salary Schedule. Newberg School District pays a 6% PERS contribution and provides a generous insurance cap, long-term disability, and life insurance.
